Content Creator/Technical Writer/Leader/Mentor
A Bit About Me
I began my career with Link-Belt Cranes in Engineering in 1989 and moved to Technical Publications which is now Technical Communications. Worked my way up from an entry level position all the way up to where I am today. My current position involves working closely with engineering in the laying out of, and creating content for, Crane Operator’s Manuals. In addition to Operator's Manuals my day to day consists of problem solving and helping/teaching/mentoring fellow workers.
OBJECTIVE
My goal is to be the best and to do the best that I can every day. Not just for Link-Belt Cranes, but for myself. When I leave each day, I know I have done my best to do my job and to help others along the way.
LEADERSHIP
In addition to my regular daily tasks of content creation I also lead, mentor, and invest in my peers. I have 30+ years of experience in Technical Communications and Technical Writing so I invest into others as much as possible. I considering it planting shade trees. I may never get to enjoy the shade of those trees, but someone will.

EXTRAS
Dedicated to communication as it is the biggest part of my daily routine. Life is communication. Occasional motivational speaking for men’s groups/fellowships/etc. I continue to challenge myself and to learn all that I can about all that I can.
Non work related I am a weekend musician as you might be able to tell from the website link. I travel to play somewhere almost every weekend. Check out the TOUR page for the current list of upcoming concerts. I do a lot of wineries, breweries, distilleries, and corporate events.
